Great all round on road / offroad bike
By: Alex on 17 September 2021Pros.. Great all round bike, on and offroad. Decent running gear, better than other lower priced budget bikes. 3x9 gearing.. 44t chainring on crankset for those who like to get the speed up on road cruising. Rear Suntour Air shock, I'm 90+ kgs so 200psi works well for me (need a proper shock pump to adjust) Looks good. Cons.. Suntour XCM front forks are a bit soft for a heavier rider, can't adjust might have to upgrade front forks. Doesn't take alot to bottom them out on the rough stuff, but probably not an issue for someone about 80kgs or less. I found the seat a bit uncomfortable, got a sore butt after doing a 45k ride. Replaced with the seat off my old mountain bike it has softer smoother edges. Tracks and Trails yes.. Downhill trail riding?? mmm yes if u take it easy , I wouldn't be doing any big jumps and crazy stuff that's what expensive downhill bikes are for.
